This offering is ONLY the trucks without wheelsets, included are the Sideframes, brake beams and screws. Three pairs of trucks total.
The idea is you choose your own wheelsets.
This pair of trucks replicates the 100-ton Combination Scullin Foundry design produced with roller bearing wheelsets. Specifically, the pattern design is a combination of Ride Control and Barber frame and bolsters along with spring dampener designs. Therefore, the term used Combination, note the lack of truck "design" engraved above the above the spring beam. It is typically left blank. This variation has the MDA Model No. 2200A Hydraulic Snubber that was connected between car bolster and truck.
The MDA Hydraulic snubber were placed at opposite corners of cars to deal with the excessive sway. Caused by the height increase on cars that Exceeded Plate C or ones that have higher centre of gravity like covered hoppers to stop excessive sway. Note the second image shows the non-shock side of the truck assembly.
